Multiple Grade 1 winner and sire Azoom died March 22, 2018, from an acute liver disease. He stood for the last five years at Granada Farms near Wheelock, Texas.
"We were deeply honored to have managed Azoom's breeding career during these past 5 years," Granada Farms' General Manager Jimmy Eller said. "Our thanks goes to the Azoom Syndicate for allowing us to do so. He was a great champion and will be sorely missed. Also, thanks to Dr. Honnas and Dr. Canada of Texas Equine Hospital for such a valiant effort in attempting to save this great horse's life."
Frozen semen is available to Azoom and persons interested should contact Granada Farms for details.

After moving to Sam Houston in June, Azoom won seven of nine starts. He finished a close second in the Grade 2 TQHA Sires Cup Futurity before rattling off six-straight wins that included the Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity, Sam Houston Futurity and the TQHA Sale Futurity (RG1).
