Sire High Rate Of Return died on May 6, reports Bob Moore Farms.

The 9-year-old son of Mr Jess Perry is out of the First Down Dash mare Dividends Declared and was bred by Double Bar S Ranch LLC. He was owned by a syndicate.

High Rate Of Return made eight career starts, of which he won three, was second once and third once. He won the 2011 Heritage Place Futurity (G1), was third in the 2012 Farnam Stakes and contested the 2012 Evangeline Downs Derby – 2d Division. He earned $456,010 in his career.

The third-crop sire has from 99 starters had 45 winners with earnings of more than $1.1 million. They include West Texas Futurity (G2) winner Suze Returns ($132,018), among others.
