Racing Champions Ceremony moves to January 17, Heritage Winter Sale two days.

Racing Champions Ceremony moves to January 17.

The 2018 AQHA Racing World Champion Announcements, held at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City in conjunction with the sale's Winter Sale, will move to the evening of Thursday, January 17, 2019.

This shift is response to the accompanying Heritage Place Winter Sale, which this year will be a two-day sale, as opposed to its usual three days.

The announcements will honor the racing world champions of 2018.

The Heritage Place Winter Sale is the 18-19 and has 749 head cataloged, and the change will allow minimal or no use of outside tents for the sale.

The sale will begin at 9 a.m. each morning.

Among the horses consigned are a partial dispersal from the estates of John Andreini and John Smicklas, production sale from Cox Ranch, short yearlings from Darling Farms, and Lazy E Ranch as agent selling a frozen embryo package of Apollitical Jess and out of Trendi.
