The two-day Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale in Oklahoma City ended on Saturday and recorded increases in average price and median.

The cumulative average price of $11,757 marked a 10-percent increase over the 2018 average of $10,652. The median price rose 18 percent, from $6,500 in 2018 to $7,700 this year.

"The market held strong for consignors, with 89 percent of the horses offered marked sold," said Heritage Place general manager Spence Kidney.
