Field Set for John Deere Texas Juvenile Challenge

Teardrops At The Bar, a gelded son of champion Separatist campaigned by James Hrabovsky and Leann Nalls, is the fastest qualifier to the May 14, $35,000-added John Deere Texas Juvenile Challenge (G3) at Sam Houston Race Park.

Ridden by Luis Vivanco for trainer Brian Stroud, Teardrops At The Bar on Friday won the third of six 350-yard trials by one length in :17.793. The homebred gelding was winning for the second time in as many outs.

Teardrops At The Bar was coming off of a three-quarter length victory in his debut, a 250-yard, $7,600 maiden special weight dash on April 11.
