Sorelli Returns in Bank of America Emerald Challenge Trials

Thirteen horses have been entered in Sunday's 440-yard Bank of America Emerald Challenge Championship trials at Emerald Downs.

Sorelli, a 4-year-old daughter of Brookstone Bay trained by Roddina Barrett for owners Warlock Stable and Kelly Dougan, is undefeated in three starts at this track. The mare placed second in the 400-yard, $21,000 Merial Sun Downs Distaff Challenge on May 8.

Sorelli drew post 2 and will be ridden by Eswan Flores in the first of two trials.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the August 21, $54,000-added Bank of America Emerald Challenge Championsip final.
