Chicks R Gone draws post 4 for Monday's 400-yard, $20,400 stakes.

Portland Meadows will host the season's first Bonus Challenge stakes on Monday.

A field of eight aged runners, including recent stakes winner Chicks R Gone, has been entered in Monday’s 400-yard, $20,400 Portland Meadows Championship Bonus Challenge Stakes.

A 4-year-old son of Chickie Cherry Cola trained by Hector Magallanes for Tryn Espelien, Chicks R Gone is coming off of a sophomore campaign in which he scored a head victory in the November 23, 400-yard Portland Meadows Fall Derby. The gelding drew post 5 and will be ridden by Eduardo Gutierrez-Sosa.

Magallanes will also send out Wrap You Up, a 4-year-old Walk Thru Fire mare owned by Cedar Creek Tree Farm Ranch and Racing. Wrap You Up opened her 3-year-old campaign with a four-race win streak that included the 400-yard, $31,000 Adequan Grande Prairie Derby Challenge on August 30.
