Fields Set for May 22 Remington Challenge Races

Three sets of trials were held at Remington Park on Saturday.

The fields have been set for the three Bank of America Racing Challenge stakes to be run at Remington Park on May 22.

Exquisite Stride, a 4-year-old Carters Cartel stallion racing for David and Sherry Dunn and trained by Michael Taylor, is the fastest qualifier to the 440-yard, $100,000-added Bank of America Oklahoma Challenge (G2). Under jockey Jimmy Dean Brooks, Exquisite Stride won the first of two trials by three-quarters of a length in :21.368 on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, Michael A. Pohl's Send Me This Wagon posted the fastest qualifying time to the $40,000-added Merial Oklahoma Distaff Challenge (G3) for fillies and mares. Ridden by Jorge Torres for trainer Stacy Charette-Hill, the 5-year-old PYC Paint Your Wagon mare won the first of two 400-yard trials by a half of a length in :19.648.

Daring And Dashing, a 5-year-old gelded son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, earned the fastest qualifying time to the 870-yard, $50,000-added Zoetis Oklahoma Distance Challenge (G3). Prepped by Gerry McLean for ownerr Triple K Farms, Daring And Dashing won the first of two trials by 4 1/4 lengths under jockey James Torres.
