Jd Wagon Boss Tops John Deere Evergreen Park Juvenile Challenge Qualifiers

The Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt wins the second of two trials on Saturday.

Two john Deere Evergreen Park Juvenile Challenge trials were contested at Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, on Saturday.

Jd Wagon Boss, a Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt owned by Buckey and Beverly Stockwell, is the fastest qualifier to the August 20, $18,500-added John Deere Evergreen Park Juvenile Challenge at Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.

Ridden by Jose Rocha, Jd Wagon Boss on Saturday won the second of two 350-yard trials by a clear three lengths in :17.743. The colt earned a 102 speed index and his second victory in as many outs.

Jd Wagon Boss was bred in Oklahoma by Jean Dillard and is out of Elly May, a homebred 11-year-old daughter of Fishers Dash. His second dam, the On A High mare See Me Do It, won three Grade 1 stakes in 1989, including the Champion of Champions (G1) at Los Alamitos, and was that season's world champion.
