Desirio Gelding is Fastest John Deere Ajax Juvenile Challenge Qualifier

The field has been set for the July 8, $20,000-added John Deere Ajax Downs Juvenile Challenge.

Express Your Desire, a homebred bay son of Desirio racing for Carol Robertson and Jaime Robertson, is the fastest qualifier to the July 8, $20,000-added John Deere Ajax Downs Juvenile Challenge.

Making his debut on Sunday, Express Your Desire defeated fourth-fastest qualifier Silky Senator by one length in :18.110 for 350 yards. Neil Husbands rode the gelding for trainer Bryn Robertson.

Express Your Desire was bred in Ontario. The gelding's dam, Midnight Express B, is an unraced 9-year-old daughter of Pyc Paint Your Wagon.

The winner of the John Deere Ajax Downs Juvenile Challenge will earn a berth in the October 14, 350-yard John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship (G2) at Prairie Meadows.
