Time For Jesse Lee Shines in Bank of America Pocatello Challenge Trials
The homebred gelding earned the fastest qualifying time in trials held on Sunday.

Jim Walker's Time For Jesse Lee is the fastest qualifier to the $30,000-added Bank of America Pocatello Challenge Championship on May 29.
Ridden by Nakia Ramirez for trainer Monty Arrossa, Time For Jesse Lee on Sunday won one of three 440-yard trial heats by a neck in :21.132. In addition to earning a 121 speed index while aided by a reported 5-mph tail wind, the 6-year-old gelded son of Mr Jesse Lee broke by 348/1000ths of a second the previous track record established by the Doc Marcus gelding Bar Bow Marcus on June 20, 1982.
Time For Jesse Lee was bred in Idaho by Walker, who also campaigns 2016 Champion of Champions (G1) winner Zoomin For Spuds from Arrossa's barn. The gelding has won 16 of 40 starts and has earned $189,934.
