Michael A. Pohl's Jess Paint Your Lips extended her win streak to five races with a three-quarter length score in the $105,000 Boehringer Ingleheim Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Prairie Meadows on Saturday.

Prepped by Stacy Charette-Hill and sent to post as the 3-5 favorite, Jess Paint Your Lips went 400 yards in :19.469 and posted a 101 speed index while racing on a sloppy and sealed track. Jorge Torres rode the homebred 4-year-old daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue.

Jess Paint Your Lips returned a $3.20 win mutuel and teamed with runner-up Time For Wine, the 5-2 second choice, for a $2 exacta dividend of $8.60. The Oklahoma-bred mare is out of Paint Your Lips, a homebred winning daughter of Corona Cartel and a finalist in the 2010 Oklahoma Horsemen's Association Derby (R) at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

Jess Paint Your Lips' third dam, the First Down Dash mare Dashin Follies, was the sport's world champion in 1996.

Raced in four states, Jess Paint Your Lips has won seven of eight starts, and her resume includes a dominating 3 1/4-length victory in last year's $37,000 Adequan Prairie Meadows Derby Challenge. The $49,350 winner's share of the purse from her first career graded stakes victory increased her earnings to $121,982.

Honeymoon Candy ran third, 1 1/4 lengths Jess Paint Your Lips. Jr Rock Star, Gone Fast, Bye Bye Birdy, Blacks Cartel, Tic Tac Attack, and Ablurrforsure completed the order of finish.
