Singles Cruise won Sunday's John Deere Grande Prairie Juvenile Challenge at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Third-fastest qualifier Singles Cruise scored her second stakes win in Sunday's John Deere Grande Prairie Juvenile Challenge Stakes at Evergreen Park.

Owned by Barry Sather and trainer Janice Sather, Singles Cruise covered 350 yards in :17.961 while defeating Ifarm by one length and posting a 95 speed index. Caesar Cervantes rode the California-bred filly, who banked the $14,903 winner's share of the $31,050 purse and landed a berth in the November 17, $130,000 John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship (G2) at Los Alamitos Racecourse near Los Angeles.

Singles Cruise was bred by Dr. Steve Burns of Menifee, California, and the Sathers acquired the brown daughter of Favorite Cartel for $16,000 at last year's Heritage Place Mixed Sale in Oklahoma City. Singles Cruise is out of Going Single, a daughter of Mr Eye Opener.

Singles Cruise has won three of five starts, including the July 27 Jerry Stojan Memorial Futurity at Evergreen Park, and she has earned $24,215.

Ifarm was disqualified from second and placed seventh for breaking outwardly at the start and impeding the progress of three of his opponents. O Kingsley was placed second and was followed officially by Shez My Hero, Sasses Quick Silver, Fdd Thru Runnin, Status Symbal, and Ifarm. Fastest qualifier Always Right was scratched.
