AQHA Evergreen Park Distance Challenge Draws Seven

KR Streakin Version heads the field on Sunday.

Seven distance specialists have been entered in Sunday's AQHA Evergreen Park Distance Challenge.

KR Streakin Version, a 10-year-old son of Latest Version racing for Marvin E. Christensen and Richard Aldoff, is one of seven aged runners entered in Sunday’s 870-yard, $23,490 AQHA Evergreen Park Distance Challenge Stakes.

Trained by John Poirier, KR Streakin Version won two distance stakes in 2016, including the $20,000 AQHA Evergreen Park Distance Challenge. The Montana-bred gelding drew post 6 and will be ridden by J.B. Botello.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the November 17, $105,000 AQHA Distance Challenge Championship (G1) at Los Alamitos.
