Jess Move You will seek his second Grade 1 victory of the meet when he faces nine opponents in Sunday's Grade 1, 440-yard All American Derby at Ruidoso Downs.

Offering a purse of $1,237,604, the All American Derby is the sport's richest race for 2-year-olds, and it is traditionally contested the day before the 440-yard, $3-million All American Futurity (G1), Quarter Horse racing's richest and most prestigious race.

Jess Move You is trained by Rodolfo "Rudy" Valles for owners Ricardo A. Bernal and Reymundo F. Resendez. A gelded son of Apollitical Jess, Jess Move You has won three of his five starts during the Ruidoso meet, including the 400-yard, $759,000 Ruidoso Derby (G1) on June 9.

Jess Move You is coming off of a half-length victory in the fifth All American Derby trial on August 19.

"He's doing well," said Valles. "He hasn't shown any signs of fatigue or soreness."

Jess Move You drew post 5 and will be ridden by Jose A. Alvarez.

Other contenders include Pyc Fun N Fancy, a bay Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt trained by Jorge L. Gonzalez for owners Jose Ernesto Guzman and Rito Sosa. Pyc Fun N Fancy brings in a three-race winning streak that includes a neck victory in the June 2, 400-yard Heritage Place Derby (G2) at Remington Park.

The 7-2 morning-line favorite, Pyc Fun N Fancy drew post 10 and will be ridden by James Flores.
