The Thoroughbred stallion Sixthirteen got his first stakes winner on December 14 when Lil Touch Of Dixie came home in the $33,900 Baxter Andruss Oregon-Bred Futurity (R) at Portland Meadows.

Lil Touch Of Dixie is owned by Jamie and Martiniano Leon of Hermiston, Oregon, and has now won four of six starts with career earnings of $23,227. She was second in the Pot O’Gold Futurity earlier this year. Bred by David McBride of Hermiston, she is the first foal out of the Hawkinson mare Lover Cat.

Sixthirteen (TB) is a 10-year-old son of Dixie Union out of the Sky Classic mare Mandy’s Classic. He was stakes-placed while racing in Thoroughbred races.

From four American Quarter Horse starters, he has two winners and his first stakes winner. The stallion is owned by and stands at Bar C Racing Stables in Hermiston.
