TQHA Meeting on January 10

TQHA hosts its annual meeting on January 10.

The Texas Quarter Horse Association will host its annual meeting and awards banquet on Saturday, January 10.
The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa in Lost Pines, Texas.

The race committee meeting starts at 8:30 a.m., and is followed by a board of directors and general membership meeting at 10 a.m.

At noon, there is a closed TQHA Foundation luncheon, as well as a youth meeting and lunch followed by a scavenger hunt.

The show meeting begins at 2 p.m.

That evening, the awards banquet begins at 6 p.m. with the cocktail hour. Dinner and the awards presentation begins at 7 p.m.

Raffle tickets are available for a WinStar World Casino and Resort weekend package, which includes lodging, concert tickets, food, spa and golf vouchers. The raffle tickets are $20 each or $100 for 6, with proceeds going to benefit the TQHA foundation. The raffle will be drawn at the conclusion of the awards banquet.

The evening concludes with a gathering at the Scribes Club Area at 10 p.m. for activities such as Texas Hold ‘Em, Billiards, Shuffle Board, a fire pit and live music.

There are also many other entertainment options available, such as the spa, hikes (tours and self-guided) and trails, a zipline and climbing wall, tennis, heated pools and hot tubs, biking, golf, archery, trap shooting and horseback riding.
