Three-time champion Ketel Won has been purchased by a partnership and will stand the 2014 season at JEH Equine Reproduction near Whitesboro, Texas. His fee has been set at $1,500.

From limited starters in two crops to race, Ketel Won was the No. 8 leading second crop sire of money earners in 2013. He is the sire of 25 winners, three stakes horses, earners of $662,426 with average earnings per starter of more than $9,700. His top performers including New Mexico Spring Fling winner Kia Won SI-98 ($115,454 to 3), RG1 placed An Absolut Diamond SI-103 ($93,1010 to 3), Krazy Good SI-93 ($56,881 to 3), Royal Kettle SI-98 ($39,420 at 2), RG3 placed Vuvu Zela ($33,019 at 2), etc.

On the track the son of champion Stoli won or placed in 15 of 19 career starts, earning $651,740. He was named the champion aged stallion in 2008 and the champion aged stallion and champion aged horse in 2007.

Trained by Paul Jones, Ketel Won won The Championship at Sunland Park (G1), Zia Park Championship (G1)-twice, All American Gold Cup (G3)-twice and Higheasterjet Handicap (G3). He was second in The Championship at Sunland Park (G1), Lovington Handicap (G2), Mr Jet Moore Stakes (G3), Los Alamitos Invitational Championship (G1) and Hobbs America Derby. He was also a finalist in the All American Derby (G1), Rainbow Derby (G1) and Refrigerator Handicap (G1).

Ketel Won is out of Sunland Fall Futurity(G2) winner Sixy Lady SI-102 ($146,318), by Streakin Six, dam of seven ROM winners including The Sixy Side SI-91 ($33,318), etc.

The second dam is the multiple stakes producing The Signature mare Lady Signature, dam of 15 ROM including Grade 1 winner Western Heart ($173,358), Rainbow Derby (G1) winner and former broodmare of the year My Dashing Lady ($168,798), dam of two-time champion Noconi SI-105 ($1,348, 959), champion Brenda Beautiful SI 110 ($337,175), stakes winner Going Separate Ways SI-99 and stakes-placed Grade 1 finalist Dejon SI-99 ($56,661).
