Zest Quest, a winning son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, will stand the 2014 season at Delta Equine Center near Vinton. His fee has been set at $500.
Zest Quest SI-104 won or placed in six races from 18 starts and his first crop will race in 2014.
His sire, world champion First Down Dash, is the all-time leading sire with earners of more than $81.5 million including 245 stakes winners and 36 champions. The son of Dash For Cash is also knows as the industry's "Sire of Sires".
Zest Quest is out of the stakes winning Streakin Six mare Six On The Beach SI-106 ($30,955), dam of 11 ROM including stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Babe On The Beach SI-92 ($193,302), Grade 1-placed Babe On The Fly SI-101 ($246,111), stakes-placed Precisionist RM SI-99 ($114,138), Grade 3-placed Escondido Beach SI-93 ($40,661) and G1 placed Injun On The Run SI-102 ($28,508).
She is the granddam of All American Derby (G1) winner Dont Let Down SI-103 ($697,769), Grade 1-winner Eye Caughtcha Peekin SI-100 ($202,942), stakes winner James On The Run SI-95 ($98,813), stakes-winner Carne Vino SI-92 ($88,805), Grade 1-placed Rock You SI-97 ($127,974 at 2), stakes-placed Annas Babe SI-88 ($40,440), Grade 2-placed Own The Waterfront SI-103 ($39,689), etc. Six On The Beach is the great-granddam of Grade 2 winner Mr Taka B SI-92 ($163,855).
