Mr Piloto Gets First Stakes Winner
Freshman sire gets first stakes winner.

All American Futurity (G1) winner and first-crop sire Mr Piloto got his first stakes winner on July 6 when A Remarkable Perry won the $30,000 Clasico Jodys Glory Stakes in Mexico.
Owned by Luis Miguel Albores Gleason of Miami, Florida, A Remarkable Perry was a length winner in the Clasico Jodys Glory while completing the 350 yards in :17.660. A winner in two official starts at 2, the brown colt has earned $18,462. Francsco Clorado Cessa bred A Remarkable Perry in Oklahoma from the First Down Dash mare Dashing Little Reba.
From a limited number of starters in his first crop, Mr Piloto has sired two winners and one stakes winner. Mr Piloto is currently sixth on the Leading First Crop Sires by Money Earners list for 2014.
Owned by Grant Farms LLC and now standing at the Louisiana Center for Equine Reproduction, Mr Piloto won two of four starts as a freshman, including the All American Futurity (G1). He earned $1,002,250.
The son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry is out of the stakes winning Splash Bac mare Ms Pilot Point ($73,706) and is a half-brother to Grade 1-placed Point Break Dash (by First Down Dash, $413,127). The second dam is the multiple stakes producing On A High mare Dancing Tonight, dam of Grade 3 winner JLS Party Wagon ($147,808), Grade 3 winner JLS Streak of Snow ($121,362), etc.
