Sire Tell Him Twice got his first stakes winner on June 22 at the Jerome Co. Fair.

Freshman sire Tell Him Twice got his first stakes winner on Sunday when Princes Of Darkness dead-heated for the win in the $15,022 Dutch Masters III Futurity at the Jerome Co. Fair.

Princes Of Darkness is a black filly bred and owned by Mario and Virginia Romero of Gooding, Idaho. She is now undefeated in three starts, with a maiden and trial win also to her credit. She has earned $5,767. The filly is out of the Romeros’ homebred mare Leeving U Cruisin, a daughter of Crusin I Five (TB).

Tell Him Twice is a 7-year-old son of Teller Cartel out of the First Down Dash mare Check Her Twice.

Bred by Zory Kuzyk, he is owned by Jose Luis Pulido of Jerome, Idaho. The stallion made one career start.

Tell Him Twice is by All American Futurity (G1) winner and champion Teller Cartel and out of Grade 1-winner Check Her Twice. He is a half brother to multiple Grade 1-winner and sire Check Him Out (by Hennessy (TB), $418,528), stakes winner Masters Call (by Hennessy (TB), $108,757) and stakes-placed runner Duplicate Check (by Corona Cartel, $23,628).

Tell Him Twice has sired six starters to date, with four Register of Merit earners.
