Do you know a Texas youth looking for more education?

The Texas Quarter Horse Association is offering youth a chance to learn more about the business of horse sales with the TQHA Race Yearling Sale Experience.

This experience will happen in conjunction with the TQHA Yearling Sale on July 25-26 in San Antonio.

Open to TQHYA members aged 14-18, the experience will allow selected youth to assist with the sale activities of the Racing Committee. Youth will stay in San Antonio and assist with the sale on both Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26, and attend the races at Retama Park each evening.

Last year, TQHYA President Bailey Anderson, TQHYA Vice President Avery Ellis and TQHYA member Emily Albitz participated in the experience.

More information, as well as applications, for this year’s TQHA Race Yearling Sale Experience can be found on TQHA’s website.
