Lakeview Quarter Horse Farm, near Nuevo, California, announced this week the loss of their stakes winner and multiple stakes sire Royal Miracle Dip.

The 14-year-old son of leading sire Chicks Beduino was bred and raced by Lakeview owner Abigail Kawananakoa. He raced 15 times, with three wins, four seconds and two thirds while earning $112,117. He won the Holiday Handicap and was a finalist in the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Million and Golden State futurities.

Through February, Royal Miracle Dip has sired 55 winners from 81 starters (68 percent), 13 stakes horses(16 percent), earners of $1.19 million and average earnings per starter of $14,809. Among his top performers are Grade 3 winner A Royal Dervish SI-120 ($140,353), stakes winners Time For A Royal Dip SI-105 ($72,604), Lefty Ray SI-105 ($66,435), Miracles N Perks SI-95 ($35,237) and Miracle Empress SI-85 ($28,911).

Royal Miracle Dip is out of the multiple champion producer and dam of distinction Trippy Dip (TB), a full sister to stakes winner Matching (TB) ($532,263). An all-time leading dam of ROM, Trippy Dip has produced three-time champion and broodmare of the year Florentine SI-108 ($1,123,102), champion Calyx SI-117 ($164,468), champion Ive Been Blessed SI-102 ($94,877), stakes winners Stamen SI-114 ($105.997), Stylus SI-109 ($50,427) and Shillings SI-84 ($34,042), etc. This is the family of Icy Morn (TB) ($360,688), etc.
