Funeral services for Terry "Benny" Lynn Willis, brother to leading Quarter Horse trainer Eddie D. Willis, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Voca Baptist Church in Caney, Oklahoma. Willis, 54, died March 25 at his residence in Caney.

He was born September 18, 1959, to Hayden and Mascal (Fryer) Willis in Caney. He attended school there and worked as a heavy equipment operator. "Benny" married Dawn Adair on December 4, 1981. He attended the Voca Baptist Church and loved to work and enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family.

Benny is survived by his wife, Dawn, and his children Benny James "BJ" Willis and Kami Willis, both of Caney; his siblings Larry Willis of Utica, Mississippi, Bobby Willis and wife Shirley of Vernal, Utah, Bo Willis, Susie Willis, Eddie Willis and Oscar Willis, all of Caney, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Haden and Mascal Willis, a nephew, Sonny Willis, and father-in-law Ralph Adair.

Interment will be in Caney at the Stewart Gammon Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka, Oklahoma. There will be a family hosted viewing at the funeral home in Atoka from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. For additional information or directions CLICK HERE.
