Nellie Delaney Celebrates 10 Weeks Atop Poll

Nellie Delaney remains steady atop the racing poll.

Q-Racing Journal

Nellie Delaney continues to rule the poll roost.

The status quo was the story this week, as the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Polls remained intact from previous balloting. Both Top 10s were made up of the same horses this week, led by 2-year-old Kiss My Hocks and top older performer Nellie Delaney.

Life at the top has been steady for Nellie Delaney among the 3-year-olds-and-older set. She debuted at No. 1 in the season's first national poll March 5 and has stayed there on the strength of her Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) score. This marks her 10th straight week at the top. Kiss My Hocks debuted at No. 1 among the juveniles last week in the season's first poll for the 2-year-olds.
