Freshman Poll Unanimous

Pollsters unite behind leading juvenile.

Q-Racing Journal

The pollsters have agreed upon a top juvenile.

In a season when a trio of 2-year-olds have vied for the top spot in the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com national polls, all ballots submitted this week squarely voted Heza Dasha Fire No. 1. The unanimous top-ranked juvenile has inched clear of Kiss My Hocks and JM Miracle, who have each contested for the nation's highest perch. Heza Dasha Fire will have one more chance to make his case as the nation's top juvenile when he returns as fastest qualifier for the December 14 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1).

As for the older horses, Moonist continued to pace the rankings this week. Meanwhile, Foose Cash SR jumped into the poll this week at No. 8 after winning Saturday’s $920,100 Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1) for his fifth straight victory.
