The 10-year-old stallion Harems Legacy got his first stakes winner on November 16 when Sadies Legacy won the Cesar Pedrero Anaya Futurity at Hipodromo de las Americas.
Sadies Legacy is a homebred racing for Juan Manuel Gutierrez Barbosa of Guadalupe, Mexico. The race was his first official start, and saw him win by 3 ¼ lengths. His earnings now stand at $7,615. The bay colt is out of the Chicks Sadie mare Bibbiana Sadie.
Harems Legacy is by First Down Dash and out of the Beduino (TB) mare Harems Choice. This makes him a full brother to champions Royal Quick Dash and First Sovereign, as well as Grade 1 winners A Regal Choice and Harems Last Dash and stakes winner First Rate Choice. The stallion won or placed in four of 12 starts and earned $16,363 with a career-high speed index of 103.
The stallion is owned by Francisco Colorado, and has sired two winners from three starters, including Sadies Legacy.
