Lazy E Ranch Announces 2015 Fees

Lazy E releases its 2015 stallion fees.

Coronado Cartel has joined the Lazy E stallion roster.

Reliance Ranches LLC's Remington Park Futurity winner Coronado Cartel SI-96 has been retired from racing. He arrived at Lazy E Ranch on Monday to begin preparations for his first season at stud in 2015. His fee has been set at $2,500.

Trained by Eddie D. Willis and ridden by Jimmy Brooks, Coronado Cartel has won or placed in nine of 12 career starts while banking $416,178. The multiple stakes winner also won the Mr Jess Perry Stakes at Ruidoso Downs over the summer and was second in the Mr Master Bug Handicap. He was also a finalist to the Texas Classic Futurity (G1) and Sooner State Stakes (RG1).

Coronado Cartel is out of the Grade 1 winner First Carolina SI-106, by Mr Jess Perry. First Carolina is the dam of Rainbow Futurity (G1) winner Ms First Prize Rose SI-101 ($546,985 to 3, 2014), Rainbow Juvenile Invitational winner Denver Pass SI-96 $120,994 at 2) and Firecracker Futurity (G2) runner-up Itea SI-101 ($63,141), all full siblings to Coronado Cartel. She has also produced four six-figure summer sale yearlings, including the 2012 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale topper.

The second dam is former broodmare of the year First Prize Dash SI-101, a sister to all-time leading sire world champion First Down Dash SI-105 ($857,256).
