Dan Urschel Has Stroke
Longtime horseman suffers stroke.

Longtime horseman Dan Urschel suffered a stroke on the morning of Wednesday, September 3,at his ranch in Canadian where he and his wife Jolene had returned from Ruidoso the night before.
The couple was the third leading buyer at the just completed Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale over the Labor Day weekend.
The Urschels have won nearly every major stakes at Ruidoso Downs over the past 40 years including campaigning in the industry's only 2-year-old Triple Crown winner Special Effort in 1981.
Urschel is currently in an Amarillo hospital.
