Los Al pony riders will dress in pink for the "Betting on a Cure" night.

Los Alamitos Race Course is proud to partner with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for a pink night at the races on Saturday, September 27.

Los Alamitos Race Course and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure will host "Betting On A Cure For Breast Cancer", an event aimed to raising funds and awareness for the great cause of cancer research and treatment. "Betting On A Cure" will be held as part of the live racing program at Los Alamitos that will include the running of the Pink Ribbon race. The event will start at approximately 6:30 p.m.

"Betting On A Cure” will be highlighted by the splashes of pink of Los Alamitos Race Course. Pony horse riders and the starting gate crew will show their support for “Betting On A Cure” by dressing up in pink and/or wearing the Betting On A Cure event t-shirt. Racing fans and horsemen will be encouraged to wear pink to support the important fight against breast cancer.

You can support “Betting On A Cure” by purchasing ticket to this fun night at the races in the Vessels Club. Tickets are available for $100 and will include admission and parking to Los Alamitos Race Course and a wonderful gourmet dinner in the track’s Vessels Club restaurant. In addition, “Betting On A Cure” will feature an opportunity drawing to win a white gold necklace and horse pendant including diamonds and pink sapphire jewels from Diamond International Center in Cypress, California.

Your support and contributions will help the Susan G. Komen for the Cure reach women and men and their families, with screening, diagnostic testing and treatment for breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in California regardless of race or ethnicity. Survival is excellent when diagnosed early.
