Keeneland Requests KY QH License

Keeneland looks for 2017 dates in Kentucky.

Keeneland is requesting a Kentucky Quarter Horse license in Corbin.

If a plan by Kentucky's Keeneland racetrack goes through, Quarter Horses could be running 12 days per year by 2017.

The famed racetrack in Lexington is looking to build a track to be called Cumberland Run in Corbin, located on I-75, about 30 miles from the Tennessee border. It would include 350 historical racing terminals year-round. 

The 12 days would be run in June and July.
