Heritage Mixed Sale Set to Start Thursday

Three-day auction will feature more than 800 head.


The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Central each day.

The 37th Annual Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale will get begin Thursday, January 22, in the sales pavilion located at 2829 South MacArthur in Oklahoma City. The sale company will offer 835 head of broodmares, short yearlings, stallions and horses of racing age over three days.

“We are very excited about the offering in this sale; the catalog is stacked with black type and quality from start to finish. I believe we have something for everyone in this sale," Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney said.

The annual “Pre-Sale Party” will be held Wednesday, January 21, will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by the 2014 AQHA Racing Champions announcement ceremony, which starts at 6:00 p.m. (CST). The show will be streamed live. AQHA will host a “Champions Reception” following the broadcast. The public is invited.

The opening Quarter Horse session kicks-off promptly Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and will feature Hips 1 through 278. Day 2 (Friday, January 23) will include Hips 279 through 557. Saturday's session (January 25) will sell 558 through 835.

The Winter Mixed catalog is available for download at the Heritage Place website at www.heritageplace.com or through the equineline.com Sale App for iPad users.
