Canada hi-point 3-year-old colt Iced N Oak SI-97 will all stand the 2015 season at Fales Ranch, near Coolidge, Arizona. Owned by a partnership, his fee has been set at $1,000.
From a limited number of starters in two crops to race, Iced N Oak has sired three winners, two stakes-placed (25%) with average earnings per starter of $17,875. His top performers include Zoomin On Ice SI-92 (3 wins to 3, $60,079, 2nd Ontario Stakes Sire Derby, etc.), Arizona Bennie SI-89 (Winner at 2, $50,701, 2nd Alex Picov Memorial Futurity, etc.), Zoom Zoomn ($10,051), Sun N Ice ($8,818), etc.
Named the Canada hi-point 3-year-old colt in 2008, Iced N Oak won or placed in 18 of 26 career starts while earning $118,583. He was second in the All Canadian Derby and third in the Ontario Bred and Foaled Maturity.
His sire is the world champion Oak Tree Special SI-107 ($628,470), sire of 27 stakes winners, earners of $10.8 million, including world champion Cold Cash 123 SI-106 ($1,409,781), champion El Duero SI-104 ($305,012), Restricted Grade 1 winner Furrtreeous SI-102 ($424,651), Grade 1 winner Send Me A Candy Tree SI-105 ($410,384), etc.
Iced N Oak's dam is the stakes-placed and champion producing Reckless Dash mare Reckless Wish, dam of seven ROM winners from seven foals to race, including Canadian champion Corderoy Road SI-101 ($140,279), stakes winner Shaikh Down SI-97 ($135,078), stakes winner Reckless An Wild SI-93 ($88,230 to 3, 2014), Strawflyin Wish SI-93 ($39,639), Cotton Country SI-93 ($38,969), etc. She is the granddam of stakes winner Not Too Much SI-90 (2 wins to 3, 2014, $42,311), etc.
The second dam is the stakes-placed and stakes producing Rebel Cause mare Revitalizing SI-95, a sister to stakes-placed Cause For Concern SI-90 and half-sister to stakes-placed Windi Bull SI-95 and Brave Hero SI-98, etc.
