Turbulent Times to Stand at JEH Oklahoma

Grade 1 winner still stand for a $2,000 fee.

JEH Stallion Station at Oklahoma Stud, near Purcell, Oklahoma, announced today they will stand the Grade 1 winner Turbulent Times SI 94 this year. His fee has been set at $2,000.

Owned by Jesus Cuevas and Jesus Avila, Turbulent Time won five of eight career starts including the Grade 1 Golden State Million Futurity at Los Alamitos Race Course. Also a finalist in the Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) and the Rainbow Derby (G1), he earned $564,146.

Turbulent Times is by the Grade 3-winning son of Corona Cartel Furyofthewind SI 96 ($70,544). From six crops of racing age, Furyofthewind is the sire of 12 stakes winners, one champion and the earners of $4.6 million. His top performers including champion Brace For Bernal SI 105 ($322,326), Quatro Menudos SI 104 ($300,386), Fury Of The Storm SI 93 ($292,291), Anna Delovely SI 98 ($108,407), etc.

Turbulent Times is out of the Grade 2-placed Streakin La Jolla mare Streakin La Tac SI 98 ($46,810), dam of seven ROM including Turbulent Times SI 94 (see above), Grade 2 winner Testing The Ice SI 104 ($350,498), Grade 2-placed Eyesa La Tac SI 99 ($121,107), etc.

The second dam, Sexy Tac by Tolltac, is the dam of 12 ROM including Restricted Grade 2 winner Streakin Angelica Si 102 ($100,209) and the granddam of Restricted Grade 2 winner Jack Platinum SI 104 ($220,901), Grade 2-placed winner Money Follows Money SI 101 ($78,849) and stakes-placed Smokin Buddy SI 99 ($95,990), etc.
