Q-Racing Journal

Little Talks joins the Top 10 poll.

Little Talks parlayed Sunday's victory in the $1,049,350 Golden State Million Futurity (G1) at Los Alamitos into a No. 3 ranking in this week's AQHA National Poll for 2-year-olds. Walk Thru Crystal, a two-time major futurity finals winner this year, held onto the No. 2 ranking despite finishing fourth in the Golden State Million Futurity. Runner-up Docs Best Card also debuted this week at No. 10. Meanwhile, the 2-year-olds continue to be paced by unanimous No. 1 Jess Good Candy, winner of the All American Futurity (G1).
As for the older horses, Moonist continues to lead the rankings with a solid 104-89 edge in the balloting, but Heza Dasha Fire moved up three places this week to No. 2. Heza Dasha Fire registered Saturday’s $859,400 Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1) and earned a berth into the Champion of Champions (G1) to be contested December 12 at Los Alamitos.
