Daytona B Races Into Poll Rankings

Challenge Championship winner hits the Top 10.

Q-Racing Journal

Daytona B races into the AQHA Poll.

Saturday’s Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) winner Daytona B made a big move to No. 5 in this week's AQHA National Poll for the older horses. The Texas-bred son of First Down Dash won for the fourth time in six starts this year and scored his third stakes victory of the season.
The leading quartet in the poll did not change this week, paced by top-ranked Moonist. He once again was followed by Heza Dasha Fire, Apollitical Blood and Dashin Brown Streak.
There were no major changes to the Top 10 in the 2-year-old rankings this week. All American Futurity (G1) winner Jess Good Candy remains a unanimous and commanding leader of that poll, 110-86, over No. 2-ranked Walk Thru Crystal. Saturday's John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship (G2) winner Careless Lightning landed just outside the Top 10 in balloting.
