Meet Champions Honored at Lone Star Park

Terry Stennett, Trey Wood, and Ricky Ramirez were honored during the track's closing-night program on Saturday.

Lone Star Park honored its 2015 season champion owner, trainer, and jockey on Saturday, closing night of the track’s fall Quarter Horse Meet of Champions.

The meet leaders were Terry D. Stennett (owner), Trey Wood (trainer), and Ricky Ramirez (jockey). The trio teamed to win the meet’s and state's richest race, Saturday’s $1.1-million Texas Classic Futurity (G1), with the Tres Seis gelding Tres Friends.
