Matabari Retires From Poll

No major shakeups in national polls.

Matabari's retirement drops her from the Top 10.

The retirement of Matabari was the big news this week, and its impact was felt with a slight shift in balloting in the AQHA National Poll for older horses. Pollsters dropped Matabari from the poll as BF Farm Boss slid into the No. 10 spot after sitting just outside the rankings in recent weeks with considerable support. Matabari had held down the No. 7 spot a week ago prior to the announcement.
Meanwhile, Moonist spent his second week at No. 1 in the rankings for the older horses, garnering 104 of a possible 110 points in the balloting.

The top 10 in the 2-year-old division did not see any major changes this week as All American Futurity (G1) winner Jess Good Candy continues to hold the top spot with unanimous support.
