FQHRA to Handle Hialeah Bookkeeper Duties

The Florida QHRA will be providing bookkeeper duties for the upcoming meet.

Press Release

FQHRA will be providing bookkeeper duties at Hialeah.

The Florida Quarter Horse Racing Association will handle horsemen’s bookkeeper duties for the 40-day Hialeah Park winter Quarter Horse meet, which opens December 26.

“Part of the resolution in the court hearing held in March 2015 was that Hialeah/SFRA would not dispute that FQHRA will handle the horsemen’s bookkeeper duties for the 2015/2016 meet,” said FQHRA president Dr. Steve Fisch. “You can be assured that you will be paid in a timely manner with FQHRA handling and protecting the purse funds.

“Part of the safety net of the horsemen is to have a group representing them that will always perform an accurate and complete accounting of the purse money,” he added. “FQHRA demonstrated without a shadow of a doubt that every dollar is accounted for when FQHRA is in charge of the purse account.”
