Zoomin Effortlessly Zooms Up Poll
Leo winner reaches the Top 10.
April 5, 2016
Zoomin Effortlessly continued his winning ways Saturday in the Leo Stakes (G1) at Remington Park and earned this week's No. 2 ranking in the latest AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll.
The Texas-bred gelding owned by Telesforo Perrett now has won seven straight races, a streak that includes both the Refrigerator Handicap (G1) and Championship at Sunland Park (G1), as well as three other stakes, and trails only Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) winner Moonist in the poll. Moonist has topped each poll of the 2016 season to date.
Other newcomers to the poll this week include Jess Good Reason at No. 8 and Queen Washita at No. 10. Jess Good Reason won Saturday's La Primera Del Ano Derby (G3) at Los Alamitos and earlier this year was runner-up in the Los Alamitos Winter Derby (G1). Queen Washita upset the Oklahoma Derby (G3) two weeks ago.
Rankings for the national 2-year-old scene will debut later this spring.
