Carl Draper Memorial Service Rescheduled for May 15
The celebration of the longtime horseman's life will take place in the Ruidoso Downs Turf Club.

The memorial service for longtime horseman Carl Draper has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 15, at 2 p.m. (MDT). The service will be held at the All American Turf Club at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.
Draper died of a heart attack at his home in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, on December 21. He was 76.
A member of the Ruidoso Downs Racehorse Hall of Fame, Draper is best known for training 2005 world champion DM Shicago and Heartswideopen, the sport's champion 2-year-old in '07 and champion 3-year-old filly the following year. Both horses were also All American Futurity (G1) winners.
