SunRay Park Releases $410,000 Quarter Horse Stakes Schedule

The track will offer eight stakes during its 36-day season, which opens April 22.

SunRay Park will offer eight Quarter Horse stakes during its 36-day spring meet.

SunRay Park in Farmington, New Mexico, will open its 36-day spring meet on April 22, and the track will offer a eight-race Quarter Horse stakes schedule worth an estimated $410,000 in purse money.

SunRay’s Quarter Horse stakes schedule will be topped by two races for 2-year-olds -- the 350-yard, $100,000-est. New Mexico Breeders’ Futurity (RG3) on May 15, and the $100,000-est. Four Corners Futurity on June 19. Past winners of the Four Corners Futurity, which was first run at San Juan Downs in 1984, including champion Feature Mr Bojangles (2011).
