Former world champion makes a big move in this week's poll.

The 2014 world champion, JRC Callas First, showed he still has it at age 6 by winning the $107,730 Bank of America Sam Houston Challenge Championship (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park on Saturday. Analysts in the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll rewarded the veteran with this week's No. 4 ranking to go along with his automatic berth in the Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) at Los Alamitos this fall.

Life at the top remained firm this week for Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) hero Moonist, who continues to be the No. 1-ranked runner in the sport in each poll released this year. Zoomin Effortlessly held a clear-cut second in the rankings, which also saw Rylees Bud debut this week at No. 10. The full brother to champion Rylees Boy surprised the field this past weekend in the $100,000 Bank of America Sunland Challenge Championship (G2) at Sunland Park, earning his first stakes win.
