The Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission has announced changes to its state-bred racing program.

The Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission has announced new rules governing the state-bred racing program.

The new rules went into effect on July 26. However, the changes will not affect the status of any horse recognized as a Wyoming-bred prior to the 2016 breeding season.

"It is the responsibility of Wyoming-bred participants to understand and follow the rules of the Wyoming breeders program," said Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission coordinator of pari-mutuel wagering and licensing.
