Portland Meadows has postponed Oregon Championship Day to Wednesday, December 21.

Winter weather in the Portland metro area has forced Portland Meadows management to postpone its Oregon Championship Day program to Wednesday, December 21.

The nine-race card, which was scheduled to be run on Sunday, includes two state-bred Quarter Horse races: the 350-yard, $9,500 Gary Chumbley Memorial Stakes, and the 400-yard, $26,550 Baxter Andruss Futurity (R).

The Portland area was hit with snow and freezing rain on Saturday, with more winter weather forecast for Sunday.
