Tim Bryant Steps Down as Fair Grounds President

A nationwide search will be conducted to find his replacement.

Tim Bryant, who had been Fair Grounds Racecourse president and a senior vice president of Churchill Downs Inc. since he was hired by the company in April 2010, has left his position at the New Orleans track effective December 23.

Bryant told Daily Racing Form that he was leaving Fair Grounds to take another job in California. Fair Grounds annually conducts a 10-day summer Quarter Horse meet and runs three graded Quarter Horse stakes as part of its annual Louisiana Champions Day program in December.
