New Scholarship Honors Jacky Martin

The scholarship will be offered to two 2016 high school graduates with connections to the American Quarter Horse racing industry.

The late Jacky Martin, a seven-time winner of the All American Futurity, has been honored with a scholarship in his name.

440 Apparel Co., based in Amarillo, Texas, will be offering two high school graduates of 2016 a scholarship named to honor the late Jacky Martin.

440 Apparel is owned by jockey agent Ryne Valerio and insurance agent and long-time racing fan Ruben Cortes.
