Riilito Park Opening Delayed to February 13

Historic Rillito Park Racetrack will open its 2016 winter meet on February 13.

The Arizona Dept. of Racing has approved historic Rillito Park's 2016 winter dates.

Located in Tucson, Arizona, Rillito Park will open its meet on February 13. The 12-day season will run weekends through March 20.

Rillito's meet was originally scheduled to open January 30 and run through March 13. The Pima County Board of Supervisors will vote on whether or not to extend the racing contact with the Rillito Park Foundation on January 19.

As part of its marketing efforts, Rillito Park is offering a special Day at the Races clubhouse pass for $25. The pass includes admission, clubhouse parking, a $10 food voucher, $5 beverage voucher and $5 wager, and it is available from the track's website.
