CHRB Cancels January Meeting

The California Horse Racing Board has canceled its January meeting.

The California Horse Racing Board has canceled its meeting scheduled for January 21 at Santa Anita Park.

CHRB executive director Rick Baedeker told Daily Racing Form that there was not a sufficient number of agenda items to ask commissioners and racing executives from throughout the state to convene for the meeting.

"We want the meetings to be meaningful for people," Baedeker said.

The next meeting is scheduled for Santa Anita on February 25. The CHRB has announced that an agenda will be posted for the February meeting will be posted on its website no later than February 15.
