Live racing will continue as schedule at Turf Paradise after the state Dept. of Agriculture imposed a 21-day quarantine on the track's stable area.

The Arizona Dept. of Agriculture has imposed a 21-day quarantine on the stable area at Turf Paradise Racetrack.

The department took the action on Thursday, one day after a horse was euthanized with symptoms consistent with Equine Herpes Virus, the contagious disease that has shutdown Sunland Park in New Mexico.

Turf Paradise will continue live racing as scheduled while the facility is quarantined.
